GAIGHAT: Police arrested a youth accused of murdering a woman and made him public at District Police Office, Udayapur on Thursday. DSP Surendra Gurung of DPO said Saroj Kumar Ale Magar, 38, of Topgachhi, Jhapa had raped and murdered the woman at Kalikhola Community Forest a week ago while she was collecting firewood in the jungle. Police said that Ale Magar was pressurised to marry the hearing-impaired woman. It is said that both of them had a love affair for long. Police said villagers had pressurised Ale Magar to marry her after they knew about the relationship. Meanwhile, Ale Magar killed the woman by smashing her with the stone, said DSP Gurung.
