PUYATHAN: Suspicios death of a couple fromBadikot-1, Ahale, last night has unleashed terror among the local residents. The locals shut their doors before dusk and opened them only late in the morning. Nobody came out of home at night.

Nar Bahadur MC, 67, a resident of Badikot-1, was found dead near Dhad Bazaar on November 30, while his wife Uma, 62, was dead on the banks of the Chormara River in Nawalparasi district the same day. Teacher of the school in the village Rajendra Bikram GC said, ‘’Grief and terror have hit villagers simultaneously.”

All the villagers looked terrified when this scribe approached them. They do not talk to a stranger these days. College-goers miss their early morning classes. ‘’Everyone here feels insecure. My parents ask me not to stay out till late evening,’’ said Pramod Pokharel, a local journalist.

Meanwhile, police detained Ram Bahadur GC and Mohan Bahadur GC in connection with the incident.
