Taplejung, September 19:

Taplejung district committees of the All Nepal Teachers’ Organisation and All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union-Revolutionary today urged authorities concerned to dismiss teachers allegedly involved in the murder of adviser to the CPN (Maoist)’s Taplejung chapter, Laxmi Basnet.

They handed memoranda to this effect to the District Education Office, District Administration Office and the District Police Office.

The district committees have demanded the dismissal of headmaster of Narayani Higher Secondary School Dilli Raman Ghimire, Bhim Prasad Poudel and Narayan Shrestha of Madan Memorial Primary School and Deu Narayan Thaklang, Naresh Chongwang and Renu Chongwang of the Narayani Higher Secondary School.

They have also called authorities concerned to sack Khem Raj Bhattarai of the Manedanda

Primary School, Jhan Lal Tembe and Arjun Bhattarai of the Maiwakhola Higher Secondary School Dhungesanghu and Matrika Prasad Bhattarai of the Pathibhara Campus. A complaint has also been lodged against the accused in the District Administration Office.
