JHAPA: Police arrested three persons in possession of muskets in Saniarjun Municipality, Jhapa on Tuesday night.

The arrested have been identified as Suman Khatiwada, 20, and Pradip Bhandari, 24, of Kudunabari VDC along with Gaurab Budhathoki, 23, of Saniarjun, said Area Police Office, Birtamod.

A police team deployed from the Area Police Office arrested the trio while they were threatening villagers with the weapons at Dahimode of the municipality. The trio has been detained at APO.
