NA refrains from politics: Thebe

Chief of the Mid-Western Divisional Headquarters of the Nepali Army, Ananta Bahadur Thebe, has said that the army is always ready to obey the order of the representatives elected by the people. Speaking at the sixth anniversary of the division here on Friday, Thebe said that the Nepali Army refrains itself from politics and philosophy and is always guided by the constitution and law.

Saying that the tendency of taking the issue of national security lightly was wrong one, he stressed on the need to be serious on the issue of national security. “The security forces want the establishment of peace in the country, as they were the ones who had fought during the conflict,” he said.
