LAMJUNG: Police have arrested two persons including an incumbent Nepal Army soldier with a stolen motorbike in Lamjung.

According to police Inspector Rajendra Adhikari of the District Police Office, Lamjung, the suspects have been identified as Santosh Khatri (26) and Subash Adhikari (26) of Besisahar Municipality 8 and 9 respectively.

He informed that Khatri is the incumbent Nepal Army soldier stationed at the Devedal Battalion in Salle of Rukum.

Adhikari said that they were arrested with the stolen two-wheeler (Ko 11 Ja 3807) from Udipur along the Dumre-Besisahar road section acting on a tip-off.

Police suspect that they might have brought the stolen motorbike to Lamjung from Hetaunda.

The District Court has remanded the duo to custody for five days for investigation.
