BANEPA: A Nepal Army soldier was found dead in a forest at Janagal of Banepa-10, Kavre, on Saturday.

NA personnel Bimala Bhattarai (22) was found dead almost 400 metres away from her maternal uncle's house in Kavre, according to Deputy Superintendant of Police Nabin Raj Rai at the District Police Office in Dhulikhel.

Her body had no injuries or bruises and the jewelleries were still on her body, said police.

She had gone missing since Saturday morning and her dead body was found at 5.00 pm on the same day, showed the preliminary investigation.

Bhattarai, who has been in the NA in Sundarijal Batallion of Kathmandu, had divorced her husband after three months of her marriage, police said.

She had come to her maternal uncle's house on Thursday.
