Dhangadhi, November 22
Nagarik Unmukti Party's Ganga Ram Chaudhary has won the election to the Member of the House of Representatives in Kailali-3.
Chaudhary defeated CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Krishna Kumar Chaudhary by a huge margin. He secured 23,120 votes while the UML candidate received 17,749 votes.
Meanwhile, CPN (UML)'s Gauri Shankar Chaudhary finished third with 9,874 votes.
A total of 63,740 votes were cast in the constituency while the number of valid votes was 59,719.
With the completion of vote counts for the HoR poll, now the counting for the Province Assembly is underway in Kailali-3.
