KATHMANDU: The 13th day death ritual of the late Nepali Congress (NC) president Girija Prasad Koirala is being observed nationwide on Thursday.

NC has organised a programme on the late Koirala at Bankali in the Pashupatinath temple premises for the death ritual ceremony for this afternoon. The NC central office has requested all Nepali and foreign citizens, who paid last tributes to the NC president and participated in the funeral procession, to attend the Prasad offering programme.

Likewise, NC local offices have organised different programmes in each of the 75 districts across the nation.

The former prime minister died on March 20 at his daughter's residence in Madikatar.
