Two abducted

Sarlahi: An armed group on Saturday night abducted a businessman from Sarlahi’s Khoriya VDC. According to Sarlahi District Police Office, 28-year-old Akhileshwor Chaudhari was abducted while he was on his way home from Malangawa. In another incident of abduction, an unidnetified group on Saturday night kidnapped 12-year-old Subash from Lahan. According to the victim’s family, Subash was abducted while he was on his way home.

‘Rehabilitation first’

NUWAKOT: CPN-UML leader Pradip Gyawali said on Sunday that promulgation of the constitution was impossible unless the Maoist combatants are rehabilitated. Speaking at a press meet organised by CPN-UML Nuwakot chapter in Bidur, Gyawali said, “The constitution cannot be drafted under the shadow of arms.’’ He added failing to promulgate the statute means inviting anarchy.
