DANG: Tree plantation has been carried out in different areas in Dang district on the occasion of National Day for Community Forests.

Saplings of diverse species have been planted in 500 community forests across Dang under the aegis of the Federation of Community Forestry Users Nepal (FECOFUN) district chapter on Wednesday.

As many as 632,000 plants of 18 different species have been planted to mark the day for community forests, shared FECOFUN Dang Chapter Chairperson Shovakhar Sapkota.

National Day for Community Forests has been marked with the slogan 'Community forestry in federal system; Identity of the local community'.
