‘National govt needed’

RAMECHHAP: CPN-UML leader and former prime minister Jhalanath Khanal on Thursday pointed out to the need of a national government in the present situation.

Speaking at a programme in Ramechhap district headquarters Manthali, Khanal said, “As the phase of revolution is over, now is the time to unite for peace and development.

For this, a national government is imperative.” He expressed confidence that the border blockade would end in a few days.

He urged all the employees to focus on development of the country. “As the country has a single agenda of development now, everyone should pitch in,” he argued identifying post-quake reconstruction and implementation of statute as major challenges.
