NRNA urged to complete Laprak reconstruction in 2 yrs

KATHMANDU: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) on Monday asked the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) to work out the reconstruction projects at Laprak village, one of the worst quake-hit areas of Gorkha district, within two years.

The NRA today wrote a letter to the NRNA in this regard as per the tripartite agreement signed in that connection on April 24.

In the letter, the NRA has urged the NRNA to make approval of the master plan to launch the reconstruction within a month.

A three-side signature was held among the NRA, the NRNA and the Central Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Urban Development to reconstruct Laprak as a model settlement.
