‘Nawalpur will be tourism hub’

NAWALPUR: Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai on Saturday said Nawalpur would become a tourism hub due to its location between Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Budhha, and Chitwan, a tourism hub in Nepal.

Bhattarai said Nawalpur’s multiple culture and diversity of communities had lured many tourists of late.

Speaking at an inaugural programme of Musahar Safe Residence and Homestay at East Nawalpur’s Kawasot-15, Minister Bhattarai said the government would leave no stones unturned to protect culture and language of the marginalised communities such as Majhi, Musahar, Tharu and Kumal. Bhattarai said Gautam Buddha International Airport would come into operation within five months.

He asked all and sundry to make efforts and lend help to make Visit Nepal Year-2020, a grand success.
