NUWAKOT: A two-day meeting of district presidents of the main opposition Nepali Congress has begun to discuss the proposed statute draft of the party, at Kakani on Wednesday.

The draft statute was submitted by the Statute Draft Committee formed under the coordination of General-Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka on Sunday.

NC Nuwakot President, Jagadishwor Narsingh KC, said that the meeting was organised to hear opinions of district presidents for amendment on various issues mentioned in the proposed statute.
