KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 3

Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba stated that the NC is currently unified.

Addressing the NC district conference in Baglung on Friday, he mentioned that there are no significant grievances within the party, and any occasional grudges will be addressed.

He expressed his belief that the Constitution is still in the implementation phase, and there is no doubt about its full enforcement in the future. Deuba added, 'The Nepal Constitution is exemplary, and some challenges regarding its implementation will be resolved.'

Deuba also noted that public support for the NC is growing nationwide and emphasized the party's commitment to development and prosperity. He called for an end to the culture of hate speech against individuals and communities in the political arena.

Furthermore, he mentioned that conferences from the ward to the district level would help strengthen the Nepali Congress, extending congratulations to the NC Baglung for hosting the conference. Deuba also praised the NC's presence at the local level in Baglung and in the Gandaki province.

The conference was attended by over 2,000 party leaders and cadres. Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey commended the party for its contributions to the establishment of democracy and a republic, urging party cadres and leaders to be more accountable to the party's vision and goals.

NC leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula pointed out that there are still some issues regarding the effective implementation of the Constitution.
