NC leader abducted

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress said on Friday that its General Convention member Antaram Bhatta was abducted by unidentified persons from New Baneshwor on Tuesday. Bhatta, who is also a former president of NC District Working Committee, Kanchanpur, and a central advisor to erstwhile Nepali Congress (Democratic), was abducted on his way to the residence of his youngest son Harish in New Baneshwor, said a press release issued by NC Central Office.
