KATHMANDU: A jeep carrying Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel met with an accident in Jaukh of Mahottari on Monday.

According to NC leader Ram Krishna Yadav, the four-wheeler (Ba 6 Cha 7555) was heading towards Jaleshwar from Bardibas when the accident occurred this afternoon.

“Leader Paudel is safe. He has not sustained any injuries,” said Yadav.

He had left Kathmandu for Mahottari this morning to address a cadres’ meet.

Yadav added that the steering failure led to the accident.
