Dhangadhi, July 2

As of today evening, vote counting of 70 local levels under the second phase of the civic polls has finished in Province 7.

Of the 70 local levels where counting has been completed, Nepali Congress has secured victory in 36 places while CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre have bagged victory at 28 and six places respectively.

Province 7 has a total of one sub-metropolitan city, 33 municipalities, and 54 rural municipalities. Vote counting remains in only 18 local bodies.

NC has secured victory in four places in Dadeldhura, three places in Doti, one in Kailali, six in Darchula, four

in Bajhang, six in Bajura, five in Achham and one in Kanchanpur.

CPN-UML has won two local levels in Dadeldhura, five in Doti, two in Kailali, three in Darchula, eight in Bajura and two in Achham.

CPN-Maoist Centre has won one place in Dadeldhura, one in Doti, one in Darchula, one in Achham and one in Baitadi.
