Phidim, August 28 :

Central member of Nepali Congress (Democratic) Dr Minendra Rijal has said that Congress unification process has not initiated as of yet.

Speaking at a press meet in Phidim today, Dr Rijal said, “Prime Minster Girija Prasad Koirala’s proposal for unification of NC and NC-D is positive but no table talk between the senior leaders of both parties has been held on this regard.”

“It is surprising to hear the PM say the two parties will unite within this month,” said Rijal, adding that unification would be possible if the two parties agree on republican structure of the nation.
