NC slams government on conduct

KATHMANDU: The main opposition Nepali Congress has called into question the government's existence while slamming the latter for its performance over nine months since its formation.

Moreover, NC in its statement accused the leftist government of derailing working procedure of the federal system through communism and asked whether it was a drafted conspiracy to foil federalism.

Likewise, the main opposition party has pointed at brewing political influence in the judiciary while calling into question the deaths of two people which occurred in Prime Minister's electoral constituency.

Moreover, NC has demanded a serious investigation into Nepal Airlines' terms of procurement agreement of wide body aircraft while seeking answers on agreement and progress of other infrastructure projects such as Nijgadh International Airport and Budhi Gandaki Hydel Project.

The main opposition has also requested the government to make public cabinet decisions within 24 hours, not seven days as imposed.

"Government decree to disseminate cabinet decisions after seven seven days defies right to information and notion of transparency," the statement reads.
