NC Tanahun convention concludes

DAMAULI: As many as three Nepali Congress lawmakers have been elected from Tanahun as representatives for the party’s 13th general convention slated to be held in Kathmandu from March 3 to 5. Lawmakers Dhruba Wagle, Ramchandra Pokhrel and Jhul Bahadur Ale from constituency 2 of the district were elected as representatives for the upcoming convention. Similarly, NC former Joint Secretary Govindraj Joshi, NC former district president Raghunath Paudel and student leader Anand Tripathi were elected as representatives from constituency no 1. As in the past years, Tanahun saw competition between two the factions of Ramchandra Paudel and Govindraj Joshi. With the conclusion of the regional conventions, Tanahun has geared up for the general convention.
