President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the main opposition party will not join or form government any time soon.
Talking to media persons in Biratnagar on Tuesday, the NC senior figure said that the party will not join the government, nor will it register a motion of no trust against the incumbent government in immediate future.
"Congress is a party in opposition, and as such, there's no question of the opposition side joining the government," Deuba told the reporters.
Deuba, on being repeatedly asked about the stance of the NC on joining or forming a new government, got slightly agitated and repeated several times that the party is in opposition and it will remain as such for a while.
