Nepali Communist Party (NCP) coordinator and party candidate for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections from Rukum East, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is leading the vote tally with 1,415 votes. The district has a single constituency for the HoR elections.
Likewise, CPN (UML)'s Leelamani Gautam has obtained 439 and Kusum Devi Thapa of the Nepali Congress has gained 417, according to Chief Election Officer Shiba Prasad Khanal.
