BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala has said his party's cooperation to the government would depend on its activities.

Inaugurating the two-day orientation programme on 'Role of Nepal Students' Union in the changed context' that commenced in Biratnagar from Thursday, Koirala said, as NC has been mandated to stay in opposition, it would remain watchful on the activities of the government.

On the same occasion, another NC leader Chandra Bhandari said NC would not be deviated from its path merely because of its poor show in the election result.

Other central members as Dhanaraj Gurung, Gururaj Ghimire and Pradip Poudel and NSU General Secretary Kundan Kafle said NSU's role was important to instill new thoughts and vigor in the party.
