KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 27
Nepali Congress leader Prakashman Singh has pointed out the need for capable leadership in the party to make it strong and effective.
Singh said this at a programme organised to announce candidacy of the panel of the presidential candidate of the NC, Kathmandu, Krishna (Sabuj) Baniya.
"Such leadership is required from the 14th General Convention in order to run the party in an institutional manner and as per the rule and regulation," he shared. He mentioned that the NC would move ahead as per the wish of the people after the 14th General Convention.
The NC should seriously analyse why the party was defeated in the three-tier election, added the NC leader. Saying top leaders should be the guardians for taking the party ahead in a systematic way, NC central committee member Gagan Kumar Thapa said that the 14th GC should elect a leadership that gives hope and trust to the people.
Thapa urged all to cast their vote in a prudent manner.
Similarly, NC Kathmandu President candidate, Krishna (Sabuj) Baniya, said that he was going to file his candidacy for the post of president for the second term in order to make the NC organisation stronger.
