Nepal Army hands over disabled-friendly toilet to school in Rolpa
Rolpa: Nepal Army's Khadgadal Battalion, Rolpa has constructed a disabled-friendly toilet and handed it over to the Tara Secondary School, Bamruk in the district on Thursday.
The toilet — constructed at a cost of Rs 550,000 including the labour contribution by the army personnel of the battalion — has three cubicles, according to Battalion Commander Ajaya Gurung.
Chief of the Nepal Army's Mid-Western Division Headquarters, Major General Rajendra Karki handed the key of the toilet to school principal Obilal Mahara amid a programme yesterday.
The modern toilet will provide relief to the children with disabilities.
Khadgadal Battalion, Rolpa has carried out many development works in the district with the cooperation of local people.
