Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said Nepal Army (NA) has made glorious contribution for national unity, sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of the country.
He paid heartfelt tributes to all the NA personnel who lost their lives at different times for the sake of country and people.
In a message of best wishes on the occasion of 261st establishment day of Nepal Army today, Prime Minister Dahal said Nepal is committed to security of people and country by carrying out constitutional responsibility in an impeccable manner. He has also expressed confidence that NA would continue to perform positively by taking into account historic scenario, and acutely analysing unfolding situation and future threats.
The Prime Minister has, in the message, appreciated the image NA has built for international peace keeping, disaster management, nature conservation, development works and election security with valour and professionalism.
Similarly, one same occasion, Defense Minister Hari Uprety has issued a statement praising the role NA has played since its establishment.
