Nepal can become developed nation in a few years: Dahal

Pokhara, May 6

CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal today said that Nepal could be promoted to the level of developed country in a few years.

Addressing a programme of Federation of Nepali Journalists Province 4 Pradesh Committee in Pokhara, former prime minister Dahal said the government should focus on economic development and prosperity.

Dahal argued that state power should be used for the welfare people and the country. He recalled how political instability in the last one decade had hindered the country’s development and prosperity. “Now that the country has got political stability, it is important to formulate plans and policies,” he added.

Dahal stated that the government was ready to work in partnership with the private sector for the country’s economic growth.
