Nepal condemns terrorist attack in Kashmir

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has condemned the terrorist attack in Uri of Kashmir on Sunday, in which as many as 17 Indian soldiers were killed.

In a message sent to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, PM Dahal expressed his firm belief that the perpetrators behind such heinous act should be brought to justice at the earliest.

While reiterating the principled position of the Government of Nepal of unequivocally condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, he stated that such acts must be firmly and resolutely dealt with.

The PM has also extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to his Indian counterpart and through him to the bereaved families, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
