KATHMANDU: Ministry of Health and Population shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Of the total 1,855,724 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests carried out till date, 6,588 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 444 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 9,580.

Similarly, the country registered 776 new cases of the coronavirus infection today taking the national tally to 251,692.

As many as 947 persons earlier diagnosed with Covid-19 have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 240,363.

Meanwhile, there were six Covid-related fatalities reported today, with which the country’s COVID-19 death tally has now reached 1,749.

As of today, the country has witnessed 251,692 cases of coronavirus infection wherein 240,363 people have recovered, while 1,749 have succumbed to this disease.
