Nepal Festival in Bangkok to promote tourism
KATHMANDU: A five-day Nepal Festival organised by the Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA), Thailand chapter, in the Central World of Bangkok has concluded successfully on Monday.
The Festival, held from April 21 to 25 was inaugurated jointly by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ananda Prasad Pokharel, his Thai counterpart Vira Rojpojchanarat and Thai Vice Minister for Tourism Chavanee Tongroach.
In the Festival, various local business organisations including Nepal Tourism Board, Lumbini Development Trust, and Nepal Airlines, displayed their products and services.
According to a statement released by the Embassy of Nepal, Bangkok today, the Nepal Festival has been deemed successful in promoting and publicising Nepali products as well as Nepal as a tourist destination.
