New Delhi, December 18:

Officials from Nepal and India have prepared official maps of the border, except the disputed Kalapani and Susta areas, between the two countries.

Altogether 182 maps have been printed and a meeting of the surveyor generals of both the counties will reach an agreement tomorrow on the maps, deputy general manager at the Department of Survey Rajaram Chhatkuli told this daily today. The meeting of survey officials that was held in New Delhi on Monday gave the final touch to the maps.

General manager of the Department of Survey Toyanath Baral arrived in New Delhi today to attend the meeting of the surveyor generals.

The maps will be forwarded to the governments of Nepal and India for approval and they will be made public once high-level government officials exchange their signatures, Chhatkuli said.
