Nepal-India relations friendly: FM Pandey

Minister for Foreign Affairs Ramesh Nath Pandey has said it is not necessary for Nepal to play “China Card” against India.

Speaking at a press meet held here today at the Staff Meeting Centre by the Foreign Ministry Liaison Office, Birgunj, Pandey, responding to the charges of the King playing “China Card” against India, said: “It is not necessary for Nepal to play ‘China Card’ against India. Nepal’s own card is sufficient.” “The meeting between the King and Indian PM on the sidelines of SAARC Summit in Bangladesh has changed the ties between the two neighbours for the better.”

“After the meeting of the Indian PM with the King, the Nepal-India ties again turned friendly. Pandey ruled out the introduction of ID cards at the Birgunj check point for transit between the two countries.
