Nepal 33rd most fragile state

KATHMANDU: Nepal has been ranked the 33rd most fragile state in the world, according to the Fund For Peace, a Washington-based research and educational institution.

Nepal has 91.2 points in the Fragile States Index published by the institution.

The ranking is based on the indicators of risk and thousands of articles and reports that are processed by the institution’s software from electronically available sources, according to the Fund for Peace.

According to the ranking, Somalia is the most fragile state in the world with 114.0 points while Finland is the least fragile with 18.8 points.
