KATHMANDU, MAY 16
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 100, on Tuesday as 21 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,003,248 while the death toll remains at 12,031 as no fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 991,117 with 24 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 384 PCR tests were conducted in the last 24 hours while 719 antigen test.
With this, a total of 6,041,307 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
