KATHMANDU, APRIL 28
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 375, on Friday as 103 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,002,919 while the death toll remains at 12,029 as one fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 990,515 with 53 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,925 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 627 were PCR tests while 1,298 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 6,034,506 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 53 positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
