KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 04
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 2,528 on Sunday as 116 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 997,868 while the death toll remains at 12,007 as no fatalities were recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 983,333 with 230 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,450 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,756 were PCR tests while 1,694 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,896,667 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 26 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.5%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
