KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 09
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 2,448 on Friday as 110 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 998,542 while the death toll remains at 12,012 as two fatalities were recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 984,082 with 110 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,294 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,186 were PCR tests while 2,108 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,905,059 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 42 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
