KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 10

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 2,430 on Saturday as 112 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 998,654 while the death toll remains at 12,012 as no fatalities were recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 984,212 with 130 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,746 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,718 were PCR tests while 2,028 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 5,906,777 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 51 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
