KATHMANDU, APRIL 18
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 397, on Tuesday as 171 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,002,346 while the death toll remains at 12,025 as one fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 989,924 with 85 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 2,292 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 980 were PCR tests while 1,312 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 6,028,151 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 66 positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
