KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 06
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 2,457 on Tuesday as 177 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 998,167 while the death toll remains at 12,007 as no fatalities were recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 983,703 with 164 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 4,590 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,981 were PCR tests while 2,609 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,900,167 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 123 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
