KATHMANDU, JUNE 23
New cases of COVID-19 have been increasing as of late in Nepal. As many as 49 people today tested positive for the infection, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Earlier, the number of new infections was 31 on Wednesday and 19 on Tuesday respectively.
Today's infection was confirmed in 2,494 samples tested in the past 24 hours. During the period, 12 people have recovered. The number of active case stands at 163 people.
Also today, 85,657 people have been vaccinated against the corona virus.
