KATHMANDU, JULY 29
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 4,356 on Friday as 391 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 985,808 while the death toll reached to 11,964 as two fatalities was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 969,488 with 269 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 4,282 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 2,474 were PCR tests while 1,808 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,812,151 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 186 positive cases in the past 24 hours.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.3%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
