KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 22
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 1,405 on Tuesday as 66 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 999,453 while the death toll remains at 12,016 as no fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 986,032 with 137 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,262 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,190 were PCR tests while 2,072 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,927,287 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 7 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
