KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 12
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 25, on Monday as seven persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,000,939 while the death toll remains at 12,019 as no fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 988,895 with 12 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,199 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 418 were PCR tests while 781 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,983,149 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed no positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
