DHANGADHI: Nepali Congress Kailali district member Rajesh Chaudhary, who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident in Kailari Rural Municipality of the district, died during treatment at the Seti Zonal Hospital on Saturday evening.

Chaudhary was critically injured after the motorcycle (Se 1 Pa 607), he was riding on, hit a woman cyclist and fell onto the road in Kailari yesterday evening.

The incident occurred when he was heading towards his home in Bhitariya of the rural municipality from Dhangadhi at around 11 pm yesterday.

The NC leader was rushed to the hospital but breathed his last there, informed the Hasuliya Area Police Office.

The woman hit by the motorcycle got minor injuries and is currently being treated at the same hospital, informed Inspector Shankar Dutta Panta.
