‘Nepali Congress will join government’

HETAUDA: CPN-UML Vice-chairperson Yubaraj Karki on Wednesday expressed confidence that the Nepali Congress would participate in the KP Oli-led government very soon.

Speaking at a programme organised in Hetauda by Press Chautari Nepal, Makawanpur, Karki held that NC’s participation in the government was indispensable to make the country self-reliant.

Karki said his party-led government would be successful in tackling national issues facing the country.

He held that India had lifted the blockade it had imposed expressing dissatisfaction with the promulgation of the new statute.

Stating that Nepal’s constitution was excellent, Karki opined that flaws in the statute could be rectified through amendment to the charter.

He stressed the need to make the country self-dependent as the country might encounter crisis at any time.
