Nepali Ambassador to Malaysia, Dilli Raj Poudel, has held high-level meetings in Malaysia.
Ambassador Poudel held separate meetings with Malaysian Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and Minister for Human Resources, V Shivakumar, and discussed about the expansion of bilateral relations and mutual interest, according to the Nepali Embassy.
On the occasion, they held discussion on how to make qualitative as well as quantitative growth for Nepal in Malaysia, the attractive labour destination of Nepali youths.
They also talked about the effective implementation of the procedure of sending Nepali workers in zero cost as well as additional employment opportunity for Nepali workers and service and benefits for Nepali workers working in Malaysia.
They also discussed about supporting each other in the promotion of national interest of both countries through coordination on issues of bilateral, regional and multilateral welfare.
During the meeting with Home Minister Ismail, discussion was held about the high-level visit to Nepal he is making under his leadership in the near future.
The Malaysian Home Minister during his visit is scheduled to hold discussion with Nepali officials about the 'Foreign Workers Employment Relaxation Plan' of Malaysia.
