Nepali youths stranded in Dubai

DHARAN: Ten Nepali youths who had reached United Arab Emirates through a manpower company with fake visas have been stranded in Dubai.

Som Bahadur BK, Kiran BK, Ram BK, Ramesh BK, Bikram BK, Nil Kumar BK, Pushparaj Dhungana, Bir Bahadur Gole, Lakpa Sherpa and a person who was yet to be identified have been stranded in Dubai, informed Radha Dhungana relative of Pushparaj Dhungana.

Radha said Kamal Karki of Dharan had sent the youths to Dubai charging Rs 80,000 from each of them. Relatives of the stranded youths have filed a case in the Area Police Office Dharan. Inspector Ravi Rawal informed that they had already detained Karki.

Meanwhile, Karki said she had sent the youths for foreign employment through Ashok Subba of Dharan. She admitted that they had sent the youths to Dubai via India. The relatives of the youths have urged the government to rescue them at the earliest.
